Why hire an independent researcher?

Searching for the exact information you need and evaluating the credibility of the information is a time consuming and frustrating process. While the Internet is a wonderful place for locating information, unless your are trained to search, you will waste a lot of time and come up with very little. The "hidden web" consists of hundreds of web sites not properly indexed or that need an experience searcher to filter out. Also, there are some research projects where in-print reference sources such as books and periodicals are still the best and most reliable resources available.

I am trained to search and evaluate both Internet and in-print research sources. By using my services you will get better and more comprehensive information faster and at a lower cost than you would by attempting to locate the information yourself. You may spend more time doing the research while you could be writing, working on your project, or going about your daily job.

Initial interview process

Contact me by e-mail or telephone 336-725-4549 to discuss your project. The interview process is a very important to make sure I understand exactly what information you are seeking, how soon you need the results, and the format you would like your information delivered to you.

What do you charge?

I offer project, hourly and not-to-exceed billing rates. Once I have established the exact nature of the project I will e-mail a cost estimate for your approval at no charge.

Contact barbara@researchsolutions.net for a free estimate or to discuss a research project in more detail.
